Reasons to love it – and reasons not to

The location is excellent—a quick walk to the beach and close to attractions. Comfortable beds and a tasty breakfast made mornings pleasant.

Check-in was frustratingly slow, and outdated furniture made the room feel less inviting. There are also issues with cleanliness and noise from other guests.

The heated pool was fantastic, and I loved the close proximity to attractions. There were also awesome outdoor spaces for relaxing.

It was just a great fit for a fleeting pause in Carlsbad with good value for cost. The morning breakfast was actually fresh, which kept up with all the kids bustling around. Try to get down early to avoid the breakfast rush.
